# Machine Lock Limit

> This method will change the maximum number of machine codes that a license key can have.

This method will change the *maximum number of machine codes* that a license key can have.

### Parameters

| **Parameter** | **Description** | **Remarks** |

| ProductId | the product id (=\*\*\[ProductId] \*\*) | required |
| Key | the serial key string | required |
| NumberOfMachines | The new value that should be set as the maximum number of machines for this license. | required |
| v | Method version. | optional. by default, it's 1. |
