# .NET: LicenseStatus

> Signatures, models and behavior for SKM.V3.LicenseStatus in the .NET SDK 4.0.54.

This field is obtained when you either call [`Activate(string, ActivateModel)`](/libraries/dotnet-reference/methods/key#activate-0eb84d49fd)
or [`GetKey(string, KeyInfoModel)`](/libraries/dotnet-reference/methods/key#get-key-3d8e65fdd6) with the Metadata parameter set to true.
