Ask Devolens features a context aware chat that allows you to use natural language to perform action within your account, answer questions about Devolens and analyse usage data. You can use it in two modes:
  • Docs only - uses only the information in the current conversation and public documentation.
  • Account context - Same as above, plus relevant account details, such as products, licenses, customers and activity. It can also prepare changes, subject to your review.
For most questions, leave Do deep research unchecked. Select it for more complex queries; it uses more of your monthly allowance.
If you want to perform an action that will modify a record (such as creating a new license), you need confirm such change. You need to actively press “Confirm” for the change to be performed. Merely answering “yes” in the chat will not perform the change.

Information about data processing and retention policy

With either setting, model requests are processed within the European Union using Microsoft Azure’s EU Data Zone. Microsoft states that model inputs and responses are not used to train or improve the base models. Microsoft’s safety and abuse-monitoring rules still apply. See Microsoft’s privacy documentation.
If you prefer to use your own models (for example, open-weight models hosted in your cloud), you can use our MCP endpoint.
Documentation searches are handled separately by Mintlify, which has its own privacy policy. The EU processing described above applies to requests sent to the AI model.

Retention policy

While Ask Devolens is in beta mode, messages and replies from the assistant are stored for security reasons and to prevent abuse. You can request deletion by emailing [email protected].
